​CLINTON LOWE

Clinton Lowe’s a series regular on the NAACP Image Award winning The Hustle (Fuse TV’s first scripted show), most recently completed the feature film Time Out of Mind alongside Richard Gere, has guest appearances on Law & Order: SVU, Blue Bloods, Louie, Rescue Me, featured in American Gangster (opposite Russell Crowe), numerous commercials, & etc. His stage repertoire includes classic authors like Shakespeare, Chekhov, & Hansberry, but loves to develop new work such as Holler If Ya’ Hear Me (a Broadway Musical inspired by the work of Tupac Shakur), Homage 3: Illmatic (pays tribute to rapper/artist Nas and his classic 1994 debut album), & Broken Fences by Steven Simoncic (a touching family dramedy about gentrification throughout a tough Chicago neighborhood). ​NGOZI ANYANWU

NGOZI ANYANWU is a recent MFA grad from UC San Diego. UCSD Credits: Joe Turner’s Come and Gone, Titus Andronicus, Hedda Gabler and June Moon. Other Credits: As You Like It (directed by Eve Best), War (Rattlestick Playwrights Theater) and Castronauts (NYMF). Regional Credits: Hair, Showboat and The Crucible. Vanya Sonia Masha and Spike (Mark Taper) She is a also graduate of Point Park University.

KERRY WARREN

NEDRA GALLEGOS

As an Actress, Nedra has been a proud member of Actor’s Equity since 1996. She has most recently Co-Written and Co-Produced a Web-Series Off the G soon to make a big splash on the Web, She plays Susan. She has done voice acting for Baboon Animation as  the Sheep, the Cow and the Farmer’s Wife; for a feature animated film, Blacky and Kanuto and a Fire Engine in the animated series Hero’s of the City.

Her Myriad of Stage work includes Donna in The Choice in the Downtown Urban Theatre Festival , Drita, in The Resistable Rise of Fatlinda Paloka at Theatre-For the New City and at D’2 theatre performing Gertrude in an adaptation of Hamlet-Revenge of the King, for the New York Theatre Fringe Festival. Other Off Broadway Works include Cavale in Sam Shepard’s Cowboy Mouth at Samuel Beckett Theatre, and Ms. Flowers in The Great American Game Show at the Nuyorican Poets Café. Her Regional work includes Virginia Hamilton in Chagall’s Arabian Nights at Meadowbrook Theatre in  Michigan, Carol in Electro Puss at Circle X Theatre in Los Angles California and the Duke in the Greylock Project at Williamstown Theatre Festival in Massachusetts.

Film: Once upon a Film, Shockwave Darkside, Run. She will also start shooting Gas in July.

Nedra is has a MFA in Performance from Pennsylvania State University and she is over the moon to be doing such a fab play as Good Grief .

 

ANTHONY WILLS, JR.

Anthony Wills Jr. (Papa/ Costume Designer) is Artistic Director of Artistic Pride Productions and an artist of many genres. He's costumed productions of Othello, The Eight Reindeer Monologues, numerous performance art and dance pieces and Jeff recommended Lilies.  He served as scenic artist for the Jeff recommended production of Hot l Baltimore directed by David Cromer.  www.anthonywillsjr.com  

 

EBBE BASSEY

Ebbe Bassey was born in the Bronx, NY and raised Nigeria, West Africa.  She studied under Maggie Flanigan at the William Esper Studio. In 2007, under the umbrella of her production company, 10Wembly Productions, Ebbe produced her first short film “Siri Oko Fo (Mending Fences)” which she co-wrote, executive produced and served as the lead actress.  The film made its debut at the 2008 Cannes Film Festival Short Film Corner and was accepted at many other prestigious national and international film festivals. Amongst many theater projects, Ebbe has worked on television shows such as NYPD Blues and Law & Order: SVU.   She has been seen on many short films and has completed work on the following feature film projects, Ties that Bind featuring Kimberly Elise, Doctor Bello with Isaiah Washington, Vivica A. Fox and most recently And Then There Was You with Garcelle Beauvais and Lynn Whitfield.  Presently, Ms. Bassey is in the planning stages of her second short film as writer/producer, Saving Father. Ms. Bassey is a much sought after MC/hostess who has been profiled in magazines such The Nigerian Sunday Guardian, Daily Independent’s Positive People, Ladybrille, Obaasema and has been voted one of 30 Most Intriguing Africans in New York City by Applause Africa Magazine.

FILIPE VALLE COSTA

Filipe Valle Costa is thankful for being part of this production. He began his training in his hometown Lisbon, Portugal. He holds a B.F.A. in Theatre from Graceland University, and a M.F.A. in Acting from the University of Florida. While at UF, he was an active member of the Hip Hop theatre troupe, Signs of Life, as a performer, writer, director and producer, as well as frequent company member at the Hippodrome Theatre in Gainesville, FL. He is a proud Teaching Artist with the Shakespeare Forum where he hopes to continue to “inspire artists and non-artists alike to find their creative voices through theatre and the works of Shakespeare.” He also plans to give Portuguese playwrights a voice in New York City through his new theatre group, saudade. UF: In the Blood, Romeo and Juliet and You Can’t Take It With You. Off-Off-Broadway: Love’s Labour’s Lost (The Shakespeare Forum). Regional: Midsummer Night’s Dream, Over the Tavern, End Days, Sirens, Carrie, Dracula and A Christmas Carol (Hippodrome Theatre).

 

RYAN GUESS

Grew up playing music in Detroit and raising cattle on his farm in Kentucky, which has been in the family since The Revolution. You can catch him in commercials (Don Buchwald & Associates) , plays and events he runs in the city that range from entertainment to major charities. He holds a BA in Theatre Performance and Criminal Justice from Western Michigan University and an MFA from The University of Connecticut.
