Russell G. Jones, (Director) The Maltese Chicken (Pure Pop Festival NYC), Change 4 A Dollar (Cleveland Public Theater), Lessons (Mass Transit Street Theater), Undercover On Another Day of Absence (Harlem 9).  He is the founder of The Blind Spot a trans-media campaign to promote honest cross cultural dialogue around race, privilege and identity.  He has worked as teaching artist for over a decade, can be seen on film  and television and is an Auldeco, Obie and SAG award winning actor.   Russell has been a member of The Labyrinth Theater Co. since 1995, and through that community he is also known as a facilitator, an em-cee and a moderator.  He is happily married to Harlem RBI’s Director of Communications, Elz Cuya Jones.  

 

Susan Heyward (Assistant Director) has been an actress at  Roundabout Theater, Manhattan Theater Club, Pearl Theater, Urban Stages,  Phoenix Theater Ensemble, American Conservatory Theater, Yale Rep, Ford's Theater, and the American Shakespeare Center; on ABC, NBC, FOX, Comedy Central and multiple national commercials; and in independent film and studio features.  She has been an educator, leading tours of the world's first replica of the Black Friar's Theater in Staunton, VA and bringing Shakespeare to middleschool classrooms in the Bronx with Red Bull Theatre's Direct Address program. She received her training at Freedom Theater, The South Carolina Governor's School for the Arts and Humanities, Carnegie Mellon University (BFA) and The Moscow Art Theater. This is her first foray into the production side of this craft and would like to thank Ngozi and Russell for the opportunity. One love.
